Our partners for Football Tryouts - the AFL's Orlando Predators, New Orleans Voodoo, and Dallas Desperados - each house an experienced pro football staff lead by some of the AFL's most impressive coaching personnel, many of whom have extensive experience on the player's field of minor league football, semi pro football and pro football in the National Football League (NFL), Arena Football League (AFL), Canadian Football League (CFL), Arena Football 2 (AF2), & CIFL.

Dallas Desperados - Will McCay (Head Coach) was a defensive back captain at Rice. James Fuller (Defensive Coordinator, DIR. of Personnel) was drafted to the NFL by the San Diego Chargers and was captain of special teams. Tony Ollison (Strength and Conditioning) was D-tackle for Arkansas; he was a rookie free agent for the Indianapolis Colts and was drafted by the San Antonio Riders a year later. Deatrich Wise (Director of Player Programs) was a D-lineman for the Tampa Bay Storm in the AFL, tying second in the league in sacks his rookie season.

New Orleans Voodoo - Mike Neu (Head Coach) was a collegiate quarterback, where he was named M.V.P. of the Year; professionally he played for the CFL's Calgary Stampeders, the AFL's Predators and Nashville Kats. Junior Ili (Line) played on both the OL and DL at the University of Colorado and had an eight-season AFL career. Jeff Russell (Defensive Coordinator) was a seven-season AFL veteran and was considered a bright defensive mind; as well as was a member of NFL Europe's Amsterdam Admirals and the XFL's Los Angeles Xtreme.

Orlando Predators - Jay Gruden (Head Coach) has switched between "coaching" and "quarterbacking" several successful times for this AFL franchise spanning sixteen seasons. Les Moss (Assistant Head) was an AFL Chicago Bruiser and also won a championship with the Detroit Drive. Willie Fears (Line) has a nine-year playing career with the CFL, NFL, WFL, and AFL as a D-lineman. Sean Beckton (Wide Receivers Core) was pro wide receiver for the Predators, breaking numerous team records including total receiving yards & consecutive receptions per game.
